University of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital is a teaching health institution established on 7th August, 2018 by the government of Ondo State with the tripod mandate of provision of clinical services, research and training of undergraduate and postgraduate medical and health professionals. University of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital is also known as Unimed Teaching Hospital Ondo state (UNIMEDTHC).
The Unimed Teaching Hospital is a tri-complex healthcare facility located in the Medical Village, Ondo and Akure complexes. amalgamation of seven different hospitals which were merged to form the Teaching Hospital in August, 2018.
